annostor is European technology: it integrates standards-based and open source applications and does not use third-party cloud services. Your data stays within a trusted European infrastructure at all times.
What we collect
We retain only your email address, for access control purposes. No additional personal data is collected or stored beyond what is strictly necessary to provide the service.
Your research data
We do not share your research data with any third parties unless you specifically choose to do so — for example, when publishing annotations to a public repository such as Zenodo.
Third-party services
annostor does not rely on third-party cloud services for storing or processing your data. Authentication is handled via ORCID, which is governed by its own privacy policy.
